These terms cover your use of stephenasomfoundation.org. By using the site you accept them.
This site is operated by the Stephen Asom Foundation, [REGISTERED ADDRESS], Nigeria, registration number [RC NUMBER].
You may read, share and link to anything here. You may print or download pages for your own non-commercial use.
Please do not:
Submitting an application does not create any obligation on us to award a scholarship, and does not create any agreement between us.
Please give accurate information. Applications are assessed against what applicants tell us, and places are limited. An application containing information we find to be deliberately false will be rejected, and if a scholarship has already been awarded on that basis it may be withdrawn.
We are not able to give individual feedback on unsuccessful applications. We receive more than we can respond to in detail, and we would rather spend that time on the programmes themselves.
Donations are governed by our Donor Policy, which sets out how funds are used, how to get a receipt, and how to request a refund.
Payments are processed by a third-party provider under its own terms. We are not responsible for that provider’s service, though we will help you resolve any problem with a payment made to us.
We take care to keep information here accurate and current, but we do not guarantee it. Programme details, dates and figures can change. Where a decision matters to you — an application deadline, for instance — please confirm it with us directly.
Text, images, the logo and design of this site belong to the Stephen Asom Foundation or are used with permission. The foundation’s name and logo may not be used to imply endorsement or affiliation without our written agreement.
Where we link elsewhere, it is because we think it is useful. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your information.
We aim to keep the site available but cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may suspend, withdraw or change any part of it without notice.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site, including loss of data or of anticipated savings.
How we handle personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy. Our approach to children’s information is in our Child Safeguarding Statement.
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site means accepting the current version.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the Nigerian courts have exclusive jurisdiction.

For the developer — delete this note before publishing.
Standard terms, adjusted to how this site actually works — applications, donations, the gateway handoff.
Not legal advice. Have a Nigerian lawyer review the liability and governing law sections at minimum; those are the clauses that matter if anything goes wrong.
The line about not giving individual feedback on applications is worth keeping. It sets an expectation early and saves a lot of difficult email later — but only include it if the foundation genuinely won’t be responding individually.
